We are Truckstersa rising star(tup) in the brandnew digital techlogistics field.
What do we do We are a digital transport operator focusing on optimizing longhauling in Europe. Thanks to our driver relay system that allows multiple drivers to switch between each other we are improving the standard of trucking.
Who are we We are a team of young professionals who come from different backgrounds (strategy consulting sales tech) and who have a clear mission: we want to create collaboration in the trucking industry to achieve a future where people live better and resources are used more efficiently.
Where are we We are based in Madrid although we have a global scope. We have operations in Spain Germany The Netherlands Belgium Poland the UK and France.
Our vision is to move the worlds road freight in relays to accelerate the electrification agenda and improve drivers life.
Your Mission at Trucksters
Your mission revolves around coordinating and optimizing the movement of heads trailers and goods for efficient and costeffective logistics. In addition you will lead the team in developing transport plans scheduling routes and managing logistics to meet customer requirements. Your responsibilities extend to team development ensuring a skilled and cohesive group that maximizes productivity while minimizing costs. Your expertise is critical in maintaining smooth operations meeting service level agreements and fostering a highperformance team.
Specific responsibilities for this role include:
Drive Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute strategies to double the companys revenue by the end of the year.
- Identify and onboard new clients to expand the client base and increase revenue.
- Monitor and optimize the productivity of the team to achieve revenue targets.
Fleet Capacity Management
- Manage a buffer of extra fleet resources available.
- Ensure that fleet resources are efficiently utilized to meet operational demands.
Client Retention and Service Improvement
- Implement measures to reduce client offboarding due to service issues.
- Continuously improve the standard of operations to enhance overall service quality and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with teams to address and resolve client concerns promptly and effectively.
Standardize Operations
- Develop and implement standardized operating procedures across the organization.
- Streamline processes to make operations more efficient and easy to manage.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to established standards and procedures.
Tech Improvement and Collaboration
- Identify potential improvements in our technology and planning platform.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and technical teams to implement enhancements to the planning platform.
- Continuously assess and recommend innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and functionality of our tech tools.
Our ideal candidate profile
- At least 2 years of experience leading a smallsizeteam (58 people).
- Very organized and analytical person with a proven track record in the transportation industry.
- Demonstrated experience in transportation logistics route optimization or supply chain management is highly preferred.
- Strong logic skills and abstract thinking able to plan and lead small teams of traffic effectively.
- Previous experience in leading and coordinating traffic operations or teams is a significant asset.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish. A 3rd language would also be highly desirable (e.g. French / German / Polish / Bulgarian).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and data analysis.
