Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a reputable nursing home in the Cork area. As a Healthcare Assistant you will play a vital role in providing highquality care and support to our residents.
- Assisting residents with daily activities including personal care hygiene and mobility.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Administering medication under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the overall wellbeing of residents.
Requirements
- QQ I Level 5 or qualification as a Healthcare Assistant.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferably in a nursing home or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy compassion and a genuine desire to help others.

QQ I Level 5 or qualification as a Healthcare Assistant. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a nursing home or healthcare setting.
