Logistics Manager
Rotterdam Netherlands
€5000 €6000 per month
Are you an experienced logistics professional with an understanding of dangerous goods/materials or waste recycling movement
Do you have a strong record of managing internal and external stakeholders expectations with proactive communication
Could you be interested in establishing a career in the new and fast growing EV battery space
If yes then we want to speak to you!
We are working in partnership with a specialist recycling organisation that is preparing to open a brand new state of the art EV Battery recycling facility in the Rotterdam area. They require a Logistics Manager that can act as the ‘face of operations’ to both national and international clients as well as working closely with internal teams and operations.
Experience with waste/recycling logistics and dangerous goods are also required as you will need to read EU certified shipping codes and apply for dangerous materials movement notifications.
Key duties will include:

- Communicating to international and national stakeholders (Internal & external)
- Planning and coordinating of dangerous materials transport & shipping
- Forecasting plans to ensure accurate production schedules can be planned
- Applying for transport permits/notifications
Candidates will need:
- To be within commuting distance or willing to relocate to the Rotterdam area.
- Understanding of dangerous goods/materials codes
- Strong spoken and written English skills
