What we do

Revalue supercharges the worlds leading naturebased carbon projects developers. We provide them with the required technical support and competitive financing to go from the initial rapid assessment of potential project areas to the first carbon credits issuance and beyond. This is underpinned by our proprietary tech which creates a stepchange in accuracy speed automation and level of insights.

Tasks

The Investment Analyst is accountable to our Investment Manager and is part of our Commercial Team. This team ensures that our projects are designed to be economically viable and resilient for the long term. It is also in charge of securing the most competitive financing for project development and marketing our resulting carbon credits to achieve fair attractive prices for our projects.

This role is fully remote and would be ideally based in the UK GMT/2 time zone preferred. Other locations in a similar time zone would also be considered for exceptional candidates.

What are the main responsibilities of the role

The Investment Analyst will work alongside the Commercial Team. The role will include but not be limited to:

• Evaluate the economic viability of projects through complex financial modelling
• Conduct carbon market research and derive recommendations for our team
• Assist commercial negotiations with carbon developers and financing providers (investors)
• Support new processes definition and implement them with limited supervision
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage projects and multiple work streams with competing priorities

Requirements

What do we expect from you

• At least 2 years experience in an investment related role (such as private equity investment banking management consulting or others)
• Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills is a must
• Clear direct and structured communicator (written and oral)
• Experience in assisting investment transactions is highly valuable
• Ability to run process independently with limited supervision
• Committed to continuous improvement and consistent highperformance
• Willingness to join an international remote working team traveling to various international settings as needed
• A love of nature; a strong affinity with conservation and restoration of natural systems
