Job Title: HVAC Controls Service Technician (BAS)

HVAC Controls in local 597, Experienced mid to Sr level Controls Tech with the interest joining this local. • This is a full-time position with some OT depending on the workload

• Oncall 1 X a month, dispatched from home local travel, NO overnight

• Pay rate up to $60/hr plus stipends

Responsibilities:

• Service, troubleshoot, diagnose, program & commission pneumatic electric & electronic control systems.

• Programming and Calibration of systems requiring electronic test equipment

• Communicate with project teams and controls subcontractors to problem solve to meet customer needs, status updates, assisting with onsite coordinating.

• Maintain schedule productive time, and completing commissioning & other service call related documentation

• Work on a Team with controls for mission critical HVAC Clients

• Actively plan and work towards career advancement

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as Service Tech as a Controls Tech

• Solid knowledge and onsite experience with diagnosing and editing & programming PLC systems-

• Strong knowledge and experience with the controls concepts for the mechanical HVAC equipment in commercial buildings.

• Will need to interfacing & integrating DDC systems with electrical & mechanical equipment systems in commercial or industrial buildings.

• Ability to edit, program & integrate automation to VAV, RTU's and chillers

• Graphic Editing capability is a Plus

• Adhere to safety standards

• Strong knowledge of commercial buildings mechanical and electrical systems.

• Able to read & interpret mechanical & electrical blueprints & schematics

• Able to climb, and move / lift 75 lbs
