Your main tasks
- Programming Language Interfaces:
Develop and optimize language interfaces from hyperMILL to machine tools ensuring seamless integration and superior user experience. - Corporate Software Tools and Templates:
Utilize corporate software tools proficiently and adapt existing templates for efficient postprocessing tasks. - Collaboration with Stakeholders:
Collaborate closely with our technical team customers and partners ensuring effective communication and successful project outcomes. - PostProcessor Development:
Create and optimize highquality postprocessors for our CAM products working closely with users CNC controller manufacturers and machine partners on an equal footing. - Testing and quality control
Perform comprehensive testing and trials of the developed postprocessors on complex CNC milling drilling and turning machines to ensure their functionality and reliability. - Customer advice and Support
Provide professional advice and technical support to our customers and distributors regarding postprocessor technology CNC machines and CNC controls. - Technological development
Integrate innovative technologies and best practices into the development and optimization of our products.
Your profile
- 510 years of engineering and/or programming experience
- Familiarity with machine tools such as milling machines and lathes
- Proficiency in working with CNC controls
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and apply analytic geometry principles
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Acute attention to detail ensuring precision in work.
- Candidate must be a US citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Training as a machine tool operator precision mechanic toolmaker mechanical engineer or comparable training
- Several years of practical experience in NC programming preferably through the independent generation and processing of NC programs
- Customeroriented and independent way of working combined with good analytical and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for innovative technologies and solutions
- Occasional travel (valid drivers license)
