Job Description
The person will be HOD of both Slitting and Planning dept. He should have in depth knowledge of primary slitting as well as secondary slitting of BOPP or BOPET. Experience in the BOPP slitting will be given preference. Need to have through knowledge of winding parameters for all types of BOPP films like Print Lamination Heat Sealable Matt Metallizable and all other specialty film. Should have thorough knowledge of winding tension and pressure graphs. Should have experience in Atlas or Kamf Primary Slitters.
The person should have to take additional responsibility of overall line plan slitting plan & dispatch plan. Need to prepare the slitting plan with minimum wastage. Activities should be inclusive of the following :
- Planning of the paper core as well as the packing materials.
- Follow up with the purchase dept.
- Manpower planning and Training to the operators.
- Coordination with all the departments like line manager marketing dispatch maintenance & purchase department.
- Need to take responsibilities of overall line plan slitting plan as well as dispatch plan.
- Should have knowledge of staffing plan for the export as well as for the domestic.
Requirements
- Qualification : BE / Diploma Engineering / B.Sc
- Experience : 15 20 Yrs specially in slitting activities with 45 years in Overall Production planning.
