Job Description

To combat the increased demand for our services we are looking for Occupational Therapists across a number of areas including Hertfordshire Gloucestershire Oxfordshire Berkshire and Wiltshire!


Most of our Speech and Language Therapists work in a hybrid way so you will need to be comfortable delivering speech and language assessments and therapy inperson (e.g. travelling to client locations within your locality).


Youll already have:

  • A relevant Occupational Therapy degree approved by the HCPC and RCOT
  • HCPC registration
  • Completed your NQP competencies
  • Experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Prior experience working in a freelance/sole trader/selfemployed capacity (including professional indemnity insurance or a willingness to obtain).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

Competitive rates of pay Youll receive a minimum of 45 per hour for therapy sessions and a minimum of 80 per assessment you complete.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Delivering occupational therapy assessments to clients including consideration for all needs identifying areas of difficulty that require attention or intervention.
  • Observing and testing patients to assess specific difficulties and their impact.
  • Planning and developing appropriate therapy programmes based on the individual patient needs in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Liaising with The Owl Centre team school staff and parents/guardians.
  • Managing a caseload while taking into account priority cases waiting lists successful outcome referral and discharge of service users.
