Job Description

Job Title: Finance and Payroll Officer

Location: Melbourne Cambridgeshire

Salary: per annum

Job Type: FullTime Permanent

About the Role:
My client are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Finance and Payroll Officer to join their team in Melbourne Cambridgeshire. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment and is committed to maintaining high standards in financial and payroll management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • EndtoEnd Payroll Management: Efficiently manage weekly payroll processes ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Invoice Processing: Handle the processing of incoming invoices ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Rebate Processing: Manage and process rebates ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and reconciled.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports providing insights and analysis as required.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations. Assist in internal and external auditing processes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with employees management and external partners to address payroll and financerelated inquiries and issues.


Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Sage: Proficiency in Sage accounting software is highly desirable.
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel including the ability to manage spreadsheets and analyse data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail particularly in handling financial data and payroll.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
