You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Fire Suppression Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining fire suppression systems to ensure the safety and protection of our clients assets. The Fire Suppression Technician will work with a variety of fire suppression technologies including but not limited to sprinkler systems gasbased suppression systems and foam systems. Attention to detail technical expertise and a commitment to safety are paramount in this role. While working under the area Manager of Crystal Clean contracts you will ensure agreed upon services are being completed and employees are meeting targets and providing quality work. Day shift Monday through Friday starting at $42500.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fire suppression systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot and repair any issues with existing fire suppression systems.
Ensure all installations and maintenance activities comply with relevant local provincial and federal regulations and codes.
Keep accurate records of inspections maintenance and repairs for compliance and client reporting purposes.
Stay updated on industry and advancements and participate in relevant training programs to enhance technical knowledge.
High school diploma or equivalent
Relevant certification in fire suppression systems an asset.
Experience as a fire suppression technician an asset.
Familiarity with relevant building codes regulations and industry standards.
Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
