POSITION DETAILS

Start Date:

• Immediate

Teaching Hours:

• Peak hours: MondaySunday 12 PM to 4 PM SAST
• Minimum 40 peak hours required per month
• Hours are not guaranteed

Students:

• Teaching kids and adults based in Asia

Contract type:

• You will be contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider

Location:

• Work from the convenience of your home

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification
• Completed accredited 120hour TEFL TESOL TEYL or CELTA
• Computer literate
• No criminal record
• 2 years of online English teaching experience required

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (NONNEGOTIABLE)

PC specifications:

• Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU (at)2 GHz (4 CPUs) or greater
• Memory: 8GB RAM or greater

Backup power:

• Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of up to45 hours(2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). This is applicable and a nonnegotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur.

A stable fibreinternet connection:

• At a minimum of 20 Mbps upload and download speeds
• PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a WiFi connection

Noisecancellingheadsets and HD web camera.

• Backup headset is highly recommended
