Lead Lab Technician

The Staff Pad is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Laboratory technician to support our clients laboratory testing efforts in the field of geotechnical engineering and QA/QC construction. This position is located in Reno Nevada. As a Lead Laboratory Technician you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance within all our clients project scopes through rigorous testing research and innovation.

Stay updated with all applicable testing certifications best practices and emerging technologies in construction materials testing.

To excel in this role you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Laboratory testing: Be efficient and reliable in an effort to meet all testing deadlines.

Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control measures to ensure that all construction materials testing and components meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Research and Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation by staying up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in materials testing and applying this knowledge to improve testing procedures and methodologies.

Collaboration: Work closely with other lab technicians providing guidance on testing requirements and results interpretation. Collaborate with lab manager director of CMT services and other technicians to resolve qualityrelated issues.

Mentorship: Train and mentor less qualified laboratory staff sharing your expertise and promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of test results through Spectra QEST software and internal worksheets. Prepare legible test data for the lab manager and other lab technicians.
