Teacher of Design Technology

We are looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher with the ability to teach from KS3 to A Level, specialising in product design and preferably with some experience of electronics, systems and control and CAD/CAM. Design and Technology is a vibrant and continuously changing subject as well as a rapidly developing subject in the College, with a range of new technologies and projects being introduced.

The department is well-resourced and supported and follows a balanced Design and Technology programme at Key Stage 3, broadly in line with the National Curriculum. At Key Stage 4, students can opt to take CIE Product Design, whilst at A Level, students follow the Pearson A Level Product Design specification.

All our classrooms are equipped with interactive smartboards; students receive iPads upon joining the school, whilst teachers receive both an iPad and laptop.
