Job Description
Scope:
This position is with our fintech client (KEENU) for their office based in 43B 43rd St Block6 PECHS Karachi. Keenu (operated by Wemsol Pvt Ltd) is licensed and regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI).
Job Duties:
- Lead a team of QA Automation Engineers providing guidance mentorship and support to team members.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy including selecting appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define test strategies test plans and test cases for both new and existing features.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools and programming languages such as Selenium Appium Java Python or others as appropriate.
- Oversee the execution of automated test suites and monitor test results identifying and reporting defects.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure ongoing and automated regression testing.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to test automation effectiveness and product quality.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including developers product managers and other QA team members to drive quality across the development lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases test plans and automation scripts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to test automation.
Requirements
- Master s or Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in QA Automation with a strong understanding of software testing principles.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Analytical thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality software.
