Job Description

Responsibilities:

As an Embedded Linux Software Engineer at L4B Software you will be responsible for:
  • Device Tree: Proficient in creating and modifying Device Tree files for custom hardware configurations.
  • Bootloader: Experience with bootloader development and customization ensuring seamless and efficient system bootup.
  • Kernel Modules & Integration: Design develop and integrate kernel modules to optimize system functionality and performance.
  • OS Hardening: Implement security measures and OS hardening techniques to enhance the robustness and reliability of embedded Linux systems.
  • Yocto Project and Buildroot Build Systems: Handson experience with Yocto Project and Buildroot build systems for custom Linux distributions.
  • Embedded C/C Development: Proficient in embedded C/C programming with the ability to develop and optimize code for resourceconstrained environments


Requirements

  • Strong understanding of embedded Linux systems and architecture.
  • Proficient in Device Tree bootloader development and kernel module integration.
  • Experience with Yocto Project and Buildroot build systems.
  • Knowledge of embedded C/C programming.
  • Familiarity with OS hardening techniques for embedded systems.
Qualifications:
  • Master s degree in computers and information technology or systems engineering.
Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
  • Understanding of realtime operating systems (RTOS).
  • Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
Personal Qualities:

  • Passion for technology and a strong desire to stay updated with the latest industry trends.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
