The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the President the Accounting Manager will be directly responsible for managing the daytoday fullcycle Accounting duties throughout the business including but not limited to: supplier and customer invoicing accounts receivables maintenance of the Customer Management System (CMS) as well as collaboration with external finance partners accountable for managing the corporate tax and bookkeeping service for the company annually.
Working a hybrid Monday – Friday schedule based out of our Client’s head office in Mississauga the successful candidate will be both collaborative and autonomous with a teamoriented approach to moving the business forward. As part of a growing business with a small corporate team this person will be required to jump in and support the Office Manager with administrative duties from time to time including but not limited to: booking travel coordinating conferences and managing the corporate calendar.

Required Experience and Qualifications
3 years of experience working as an Accounting Manager and/or within Public Practice
Comprehensive understanding and experience working within Canadian Corporate Tax is required
Extensive demonstratable experience using QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proven collaborative leadership approach combined with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and longterm relationships at all levels
Detailoriented with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service while driving results
Excellent written and oral communication skills specifically in English
Selfmotivated with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule based out of Mississauga. You must be able to commute regularly to Mississauga when needed as this position is NOT fully remote
Responsibilities of the Position
Invoice Clients and suppliers via QBO
Manage Accounts Receivables (A/R) and Collections if necessary
Detailed data entry into the Customer Management System (CMS) to facilitate Accounts Payables (A/P)
Facilitate the transition into a new customized Accounting software
Partner with external Bookkeeper & CPA to compile necessary documents and receipts for the annual taxation process
As the business grows work to hire train and develop an Accounting team that will allow for all accounting functions to be done inhouse
Update Client information in CMS as needed
Manage associated projects (Elite Extra Auto Plex Pay etc.) and establish relationships with key stakeholders
Provide Administrative support to the Office Manager during peak periods including but not limited to: travel arrangements corporate calendar management etc.
