Summary
The OFS Support Analyst supports the ongoing maintenance and configuration of the Oracle Field Service application environment as implemented.
This is a contract-to-hire role. The candidate will work the Hybrid schedule (Onsite Tuesday and Wednesday each week).
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support for OFS implementation and associated user community
- Improve systems by studying current practices and proposing modifications where appropriate.
- Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
- Year long project - these are responsibilities that will grow with the role - training will be provided by the Company Client
- Work with business to capture and assess new business requirements and implementation of new capabilities.
- Assist with development of training materials, QA test cases, user stories, and UAT test cases.
- Participate as part of the UAT team in coordinating UAT activities between the business and IT.

- Additional Desired Skills and Experience (Admin + Mid Tier/Data Warehouse/Plugin Developer).
- Web development experience using HTML5/CSS/Java script and Web services.
- Mastery of SQL to include ETL from XML resources -- OR -- Oracle Cloud Database Administration experience.
- Experience administering and developing on middleware platforms such as Data stage, Biztalk, Web logic JMS, or Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Experience with basic network security and topology concepts, to include enterprise VPNs and firewalls.
- Experience administering a SSO identity provider such as Active Directory using SAML , LDAP or OpenID.
Minimum Qualifications
- Required Skills and Experience (Support).
- Fundamental understanding of client-server middleware and message translation.
- Basic high-level understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Relational Database fundamentals (such as data types, tables, and uniqueness) and/or SQL.
- Familiarity with basic regular expressions and "Excel-style" formulas.
- Preferred Skills and Experience (Administrator).
- Work history as an Enterprise Application administrator working with user types, roles, permissions, passwords, and authentication.
- Strong client-specific understanding of Field Ops processes and strategic objectives -- OR -- Past experience with implementation of automated field service routing solutions.
- Basic high-level understanding of IdP authentication technologies such as SAML/LDAP/OpenID.
- Familiarity with XML payloads and REST queries to include both text and BLOB content.
- Strong logical skills to construct If/Then/Else workflows and point-to-point data mapping.
- Competency with regular expressions.
- Competency writing SQL queries and complex Excel formulas.
- Experience with environments connected by middleware platforms such as Informatica, Biztalk, Web sphere/Web logic JMS, or Oracle Integration Cloud.
- WYSIWYG Web development experience.
- Basic image editing skills (logos, etc.).
- Familiarity with VPN technologies and fundamental understanding of mobile VPN platforms such as Net motion is a nice to have.
