About Us:

LT Selection a recruitment company is currently assisting our client in their search for a Tutor. We are seeking an experienced individual who can support learners in various qualifications including Customer Services Business Admin Work Skills Retail and functional skills. This role will be based in our centres with occasional travel to different locations.

Responsibilities:

Support learners in achieving their qualifications within specified timeframes and to high standards.

Provide information and guidance to learners.

Ensure quality and completion targets are met.

Assist with learner enrolment.

Organize and maintain documentation of learners progress.

Work closely with the IQA team to maintain high standards of quality.

Core Skills and Knowledge:

Promote LT Selections learning opportunities and recruit learners to suitable programs.

Identify individuals training and support needs during the induction process and incorporate them into training plans.

Instruct learners according to their abilities and the requirements of the qualification.

Assess learners proficiency through interviews observation and portfolio assessment.

Liaise with LT Selections training staff to provide appropriate project work.

Conduct regular learner reviews to monitor progress.

Maintain attendance assessment and progress records and liaise with relevant bodies to ensure award completion.

Develop and manage partnerships with local organizations to promote LT Selections work.

Experience in supporting the delivery and testing of vocational qualifications.

Person Specification:

Assessor Qualification or willingness to work towards it.

Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths/English/ICT.

Recognized teaching qualification (e.g. PTLLS or equivalent).

GCSE English Language or equivalent (Grade A*C).

Competency in Health & Social Care Team Leading & Management Warehousing or hospitality is desirable.

IQA qualification is desirable.

Willingness to work from various LT Selection Training Centres across Lancs.

Additional Information:

Enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required for this role.
