Job Description


Position: Departmental Administrator


Location: London East / Docklands


Salary Excellent


Overview:

Our busy, well-established client run a niche business that is always in demand. This manufacturing company is growing and offers a great working environment for an experienced Administrator to help run the production department that covers manufacturing, sales, finance, distribution, and marketing.


A great opportunity to have a diverse and exciting job in a lively environment with prospects in an industrial environment


Duties:


Front office reception and admin duties

Meet and greet, take calls, advise clients on relevant company information.

Diary management for senior staff and admin duties

Stock management and control as well as office purchasing requirements.

Receive deliveries and distribute stock and relevant paperwork.

Administration of accounts receivable and payable and some credit control

Advise on material costs and payments and keep track of payments and receipts.

Assist in health and safety duties and junior HR requirements, e.g., holidays, sick days.

Add quotes and tenders to the system and update relevant teams.

Chase quotes sent out and give feedback on results and wins.

Use Customer Relationship Management systems to update client needs.

Use the CRM and databases to keep sales team updated on pipeline.

Sales invoicing and client liaison on quotes

Approve Supplier payments.

Work closely with finance and accounts on sales, wages, stock control

Allocate jobs to staff members.

When appropriate help out on building facilities management needs and repair needs

Get trained up on Health & Safety and compliance needs.




Requirements

Candidate Requirements:


5 days a week in the office. This is not a Hybrid job

This is a great all-round varied role for a flexible candidate from a sales & admin background.

Computer literate on sales software and other business software systems such as accounts.

You need to be adaptable to various tasks which in time will cover HR and Health & Safety

Good admin and typing skills. Good people communicator
