Position Overview
As a Building Consultant at the Sales & Decor Centre in Kenilworth your role is to facilitate the entire building process from initial customer contact through to home delivery The primary duties and responsibilities of a Building Consultant fall into three major phases
Your primary goal is to drive sales and meet revenue targets through excellent communication and sales strategies This role presents an exciting opportunity for professional growth and earning potential with the stability of a base salary plus commission
Responsibilities
       Prospecting Interact with prospective clients in person at the Sales & Decor Centre location and promptly respond to telephone inquiries and emails Duties include showing model homes discussing the design and build process demonstrating the quality of construction and finishes and recording customer information using Maximizer database software
       Design Assist home buyers to select and customize their plans ensuring plans conform to construction methods
       Quotation Prepare detailed price quotations using HomeFront software
       Contracting Document all specifications in HomeFront including delivery dates conditions end dates lending institution etc Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all forms and documents and verify that they are signed as required and approved by the customer Thoroughly explain the entire contract to the customer Obtain deposits and submit a fully complete new sale checklist to the factory
       Preparation for Construction Meet with home buyers and coordinate the color selection process with the d cor consultant Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all forms and documents including collecting customer signatures Prepare change orders as required Collect nd deposit
       Permits Delivery and Payment Ensure that the customer receives final plans and that all permit applications have been made with the permit coordinator Assist Administration and the Foundation Manager to help customers obtain required permits Assist the Contract Administrator and Accountant in their preparation of final confirmations Assist the Accountant in the confirmation of payments and making delivery arrangements with the customer
Requirements
       Excellent verbal and written communication abilities capable of articulating technical information clearly and compellingly
       Attention to detail and accuracy in recording all interactions and specifications and ensuring contracts and payments are complete
       Proven track record in sales or account management preferably in real estate home building or home materials
       Passionate about delivering topnotch customer service and building lasting client relationships
       Driven to achieve sales targets and are motivated by measurable success
       Familiar with building construction techniques and terminology (Experience in the construction industry is an asset)
       Comfortable using CRM software Microsoft Office and other relevant sales tools
       years progressive sales experience
       Must be willing to work every second weekend
