Job Description

Senior HR Advisor Leeds City Centre (hybrid working days WFH) salary up to

Were working with one of our fantastic clients based in Leeds City Centre whore one of the largest specialist firms in property With over offices across Europe they provide legal advice to blue chip businesses along with other small to medium organisations

You will be working in a team of HR Advisors along with the deputy HR Director and HR Director working closely with line managers from team leader to senior partner level

Main responsibilities

  • Collaborating with managers across all levels from Team Leader to Partner to address a diverse range of people management cases Working in partnership with them to identify suitable solutions providing guidance and coaching on aspects such as motivation engagement career development role transitions performance management special leaves change management staff communications and sickness absence
  • Engaging in regular meetings with Group Heads and Function Heads to actively guide coach and support them in fulfilling their people management responsibilities
  • Enhancing revising and when necessary creating HR policies and practices in alignment with firm strategy and changes in employment law Communicating and conducting training sessions on these updates
  • Updating HR system records to reflect case progress and contributing to HR Board reports
  • Collaborating with the Deputy HR Director to contribute DEI content to the monthly Board report


Requirements

Key skills

  • Over three years of experience as an HR Advisor with a focus on providing guidance to senior managers
  • Worked in HR in a professional services fee earning environment / law firm background
  • Sufficient generalist HR law best practice and policy knowledge to advise and coach on a wide range of HR matters
  • A friendly and polite manner with staff and senior people combined with sufficient gravitas to give Partners confidence in the advice given
  • A preference for working on a variety of tasks at any one time and ability to juggle and prioritise multiple deadlines effectively

The Ideal Candidate: I'm looking to speak with skilled HR professionals with a generalist background who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate should be capable of applying their HR expertise to support the company's global operations efficiently. Requirements: At least 2 years of relevant experience working in an HR Department. Proficiency in the entire MS Office Suite, with keen attention to detail. Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to train individuals at all levels. Excellent analytical abilities, prioritization skills, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Discretion and the ability to communicate effectively across all sites while maintaining confidentiality.
