Job Description
Job Title: MET Technician
Location: Leicester, LE2 7SL
Salary: 32,240 + Bonus OTE 38,240
Full Time and Permanent Flexible Working Hours Available
Our client has a turnover of approximately 250 million and employs over 700 members of staff across 12 dealerships and 1 dedicated service centre.
Due to continued success, they are now seeking an MET Technician to join our clients team at their Leicester Dealership.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on electric and electric hybrid vehicles.
- Conduct inspections and identify any potential issues or malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines when working with high voltage systems.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry advancements and technologies related to electric and electric hybrid vehicles.
- Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
- Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
- To report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as its identified
- Have a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
- Be able to work in a team and as an individual
Requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a MET / Strip Fitter / Bodyshop Technician is essential
- Time served / NVQ 3 Trained.
- ATA is advantageous but not essential
- Understanding of BSI 10125 Kitemark work requirements
- Comply with Health & Safety Procedures
