Job Description

Job Title: Chief of Staff or Portfolio Manager
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid)
Job Type: Fulltime

Job Description:

Role Ownership

  • Represent the VP of Device Activation on governance, steering and other senior level committees as required.
  • An advisor to the VP of Device Activation and the DA Senior Leadership team
  • Takes ownership of responsibilities (as directed) during the VP's absence.

Organizational Performance Management

  • Direct the preparation, review and consolidation of business plans and budgets for the IT organization.
  • Review IT DA costs and cost structures across Wireless and Wireline to ensure the financial implications of projects and activities are communicated to Charter Finance and PMO leadership.
  • Establish and maintain performance measures, frameworks, and metrics such as balanced scorecards.
  • Oversee IT DA workforce strategy development and management, including the sourcing, training, and development of staff.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain continuous improvement programs for the IT DA organization.
  • Drive and facilitate effective collaboration and communications between the IT DA organization.
  • Stay current with new market trends and innovations in telecom and company implications.

Organizational Leadership

  • Oversee the functions and organizations which comprise IT Strategy, Planning, and Administration:
    • IT Governance
    • Strategic Planning
    • Financial Management
    • Workforce planning and development
    • Project and Portfolio Management
    • Communications and change management
    • Service Management
    • Vendor Management

Policy and Compliance

  • Collaborates with the other IT Portfolio Managers to:
    • Oversee the development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, methodologies, and governance.
    • Engage, evaluate, and develop responses and action plans to internal audits of the IT organization.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or similar.
