Job Description

Job Title: Ford Commercial Master Technician

Location: Hayes, UB3 1AN

Salary: Up to 40,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + 2,000 joining bonus + performance bonus (OTE 45-48k) + benefits

Role is full time and permanent.

Our client is an independent dealer group which operates a network of 61 dealership sites in the UK and channel islands.

They are now looking for a Ford Commercial Master Technician for their Dealership in Hayes.

Job Purpose:

To drive the standard in customer care. To provide technical advice and carry out commercial vehicle inspections to provide a diagnosis, maintenance and repair work, in accordance with our clients approved technical procedures, in order to keep vehicles in optimum working condition. To maintain the highest standards of safety, and to meet all legislative and corporate standards. You ll demonstrate our clients Purpose, Principles, and Ambition (PPA) in all dealings with colleagues, customer and prospects.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Deliver the highest possible levels of technical advice, service and maintenance to all of our clients customers, on Ford commercial and other brand commercial vehicles.

Work within the relevant protocols, as dictated by legislation, the company, the manufacturer and relevant suppliers at all times.

Maintain comprehensive records, in an appropriate and timely fashion, and ensure colleagues do the same.

Create and maintain a supportive culture for all colleagues

Commit to ongoing learning and development.

Deliver all services in the most resource-effective manner possible.

To ensure the skills and the knowledge of the technicians are kept up-to-date, by providing supervision, training and guidance, and ensuring the technical information is distributed and understood.

To ensure customer satisfaction is balanced alongside quality with safety and the financial demands of the business

Requirements


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong organisation skills.
  • Able to work as a team, and support colleagues.
  • Commercial Vehicle Maintenance experience
  • Fully qualified City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent Level 3.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage processes, administration and paperwork.
  • Demonstrate ability to support, coach, and counsel and develop colleagues and junior team members.
  • Full driving license held for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 9 penalty points.
  • Evidence of Right to work in the UK

Skills & Experience: Ideally, you will have 1+ years experience in a similar marketing assistant / executive role Proven and demonstrable experience in copywriting engaging content for online channels, and ideally the press A thorough understanding of the key social media channels with experience using these platforms (personally or professionally) Strong attention to detail and a creative approach The ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively prioritise your workload Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team An enthusiastic personality with the motivation to learn new skills and develop a broad range of marketing skills Good team player, with a willingness to support within other areas of the marketing department, as required Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines Strong multi-tasker, able to handle several projects at the same time Able to use own initiative and manage time effectively Confidence in using the main Microsoft applications, including Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel Knowledge of marketing tools, including Canva, Mail Chimp, Hubspot, and social media scheduling software is desirable but not essential.
