We are looking for a Creative Director to join our Strategy & Operations team This is a strategic position within our senior leadership team working with the Board
Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer you will lead the creative services team and contribute to the definition and delivery of our proposition which is the holistic view of how our clients experience working with us (RFPs proposals reports etc) as well as how our work engages in client markets You will often take the lead on concepting messaging and copywriting for creative campaigns
Your impact will extend to shaping our present and future service offerings ensuring our continued excellence in PR content media creative and digital services Your success will be marked by our ability to excel in our core competencies while evolving to integrate across services geographies and modernise our brand and service offering
Work in close collaboration with other VPs & Board to understand and help evolve our clientfacing proposition and services for creative services and joint programmes with other service areas
Lead mentor and grow a creative team (consulting and design) that can help every geo ramp up its creative projects and quality
Define collaborative flows that encourage creative content and account staff to work together to raise the amount and quality of integrated programmes
Be a strategic resource across key marquee accounts offering senior consultancy for our biggest and most profitable clients
Contribute to conceptual ideas and messaging as well as design to guide the development of branding and campaigns
Play an active role in new business strategy pitching with ADs and senior leadership team
Implement ways for creative content and client staff to collaborate to improve the quality and impact of deliverables for client programmes
Identify and package our best creative work for marketing and upselling
Constantly review what bestinclass creative content looks like across our industry and identify new areas for creative services
Manage creative teams to ensure we have the right people on each job maintain balance across the teams and utilize external resources as needed
Identify and execute skunk works projects to grow new skills and develop new creative and content products
Lead staff recruitment satisfaction growth and retention within their department
Become the internal ambassador for creative work regularly share new projects/successes and ensure everyone is aware of any new creative ideas or proposition updates
Train all staff on our creative processes to optimize strategies/ideas for client campaigns ensure consistency in outputs to enable the best and find crossselling & upselling opportunities
Analyse commercial value of growing creative services and their impact on agency fee income profitability by service offering (ie margins made on creative services and where we need to invest in the future)
Extensive experience in a similar role
A background as a copywriter or art director
