customersbrppstrongWhat does a Business Development Director dostrongppThe strongBusiness Development Directorstrong will lead our efforts in selling Collinsons products and services to Financial Services clients Target prospects will include banks credit unions credit card issuers general insurers payment networks and other FS organizations with large customer cardholder or membership bases The Business Development Director will leverage Collinsons global experience serving leading FS brands to develop opportunities with new prospects as well as crossselling products and services to existing Collinson clientsppThe Business Development Director will be accountable for developing a robust and balanced pipeline of opportunities across North America & Canada to secure and maintain new profitable revenue from clients & prospects primarily operating within the financial services sector Internally this will involve close collaboration with the Loyalty product and delivery teams regional marketing and account management teamsppstrongstrongWhat will you dostrongstrongppLead Collinsons US & Canada Business Development activities across Loyalty products and services through a consultative approach within the financial services sectorpulliDevelop FS sector sales plan identifying key prospects identify and target key decision makers and influencers across all prospect organizationsliliIdentify key sales cycles for major contractsopportunities from RFPs within the FS sectorliliMap and understand the competitor set which is now diverse and fragmented (loyalty tech providers boutique data shops to traditional Loyalty providers like Merkel and AIMIA as well as CRM agencies)liliDevelop effective and maintain constructive contact strategies with clients and prospectsliliChampion the crossselling of Collinson Loyalty products and services to existing Financial Services clients in collaboration with regional account management teamsliliRepresent Collinson at key industry and corporate events to develop the brand profile and sales pipelineliulpCollaborate with key internal stakeholders throughout the new business processpulliLiaise with Loyalty consulting andor presales subjectmatter experts to develop effective win strategies to match clientprospect needs and challenges with relevant Collinson products and servicesliliFacilitate twoway interaction with research and marketing sharing data on sector developments news prospectcompetitor insight and activitiesliliLiaise with regional account teams in order to introduce Loyalty products and services to existing clients in a strategic and coordinated mannerliulpManage responses to RFIsRFPs including ensuring the right casting and materialspulliWork in tandem with the consulting and presales team to ensure a smooth transition from sales into product demonstration commercial negotiation and sales closureliliLiaise with the relevant Proposition owners financial analyst(s) brandmarketing and IT to develop RFP responses and commercial proposalsliliCoordinate and deliver all content to deadlines ensuring quality of executionliliEnsure thorough evaluation of commercial models to deliver optimal profitability balanced with all forecasted sales and program costsliulpEffective and timely reporting standards and CRM utilizationpulliAdherence to Group new business processes (NBP) pipeline reporting requirementsliliFulfillment of all regular and adhoc reporting in line with requirements set by linemanager (and members of the leadership team from time to time)liliTimely updates of all prospecting information including all newrevised clientprospect contact status updates meeting minutes actions win strategies and NBP stages into SalesforceliliProvision of clear sales performance against targetsobjectives set and initiatives in placeliulpstrongstrongstrongWhat Youll NeedstrongstrongstrongpulliSolution Selling experience in the North American FS market with a strong network of contacts Experience in marketingselling Benefits & LoyaltyCRM solutionsliliBB experience solution selling to marketing organizationsliliStrong commercial acumen leadership skills and evidence of sales success Curiosity for understanding client business modelsdriversliliProven consultative selling and negotiation skills up to and including CLevel Ability to identify and propose winwin business terms for both Clients and CollinsonliliAbility to positively build relationships and influence internal constituents to efficiently execute and close salesliliExperience negotiating legal agreements and working with inside council to ensure needs of both the client and Collinson are met via the contracting processliliAbility to formulate and articulate the internal proforma process to ensure deal financial hurdles are metliliAgility to generate cold leads and develop warm leads credibly at all levelsliliUnderstanding of the loyalty and benefits products in the American FS sector and the key players that focus on loyalty rewards and member benefitsliliDemonstrable experience and accountability for creatingmanaging multimillion dollar P&LsliliExperience of selling consumer benefits software as a service andor marketing services would be distinctly advantageousliliAbility to lead by example act decisively able to manage challenging deadlines and requests effectivelyliliUse of own initiative selfmotivated ability to hit the ground runningliliAbility to recognize opportunities where other regional Collinson markets may benefit
