Digital Marketing and Admissions Assistant


Location: UK remote working
Contract: Permanent (PAYE) Part time 32.5 hours per week

Salary: £25K - £28K depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
The role of the Digital Marketing and Admissions Assistant is at the heart of delivering a seamless learning journey for both our existing and potential students. Working closely with all stakeholders and supporting the Associate Centre Manager across various activities, this position encompasses student care and business development support. As the Marketing and Communications Assistant, you will be the welcoming face of Busec Nova for all stakeholders, providing a friendly welcome and delivering exceptional customer service for all inquiries.
  • Marketing Assist with every aspect of Marketing activity including design, advertising and brand ensuring content reflects school ethos and brand
  • Social & Digital Media Develop and create a programme of engaging digital content for social, web and other digital channels
  • Admissions Enquiries, Learner Management Platform Tours, Applications & Offers Assist with day-to-day Admissions processes and operations
  • Events Assist with all marketing events ensuring maximum attendance and engagement
  • Measurement, Analysis and Reporting Maintain highly accurate records and prepare reports for the Head of Admissions, Marketing & Communications
  • General Administration, Alumni Relations, and Engagement

Core Activities:
  • Collaborate closely with our external marketing consultants to recommend and deliver new services for prospective students and team members.
  • Engage with existing and potential students through a variety of multimedia during the sign-up process, actively participating in all marketing and communication efforts.
  • Ensure that student and team-member feedback is actively sought, followed up on, and stored in Zoho in a timely fashion. Relevant information should be conveyed to the monthly team meeting, centre development meetings, and our marketing team.
  • Provide support for the Senior Management Team (SMT) by facilitating student inquiries about Busec Nova's courses and qualifications. This includes handling calls via your desktop VoIP system, responding to inquiries, scheduling diagnostic appointments for potential students with Programme Managers, engaging in email correspondence with students as needed, and maintaining and cleaning lead data.
  • Maintain, update, and refresh the company manual in Connect and deliver internal communications to ensure that essential information is shared with all stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate logistics for company meetings, including booking meeting rooms, ensuring necessary equipment is provided and functional, handling catering arrangements, preparing agendas, producing, and organising PowerPoint presentations, and assisting staff who are not on-site in booking rooms.
  • Manage communications across all paid-for and organic media platforms.
  • Assist the Marketing Team in creating communication collaterals.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree level (preferable)
  • Educated to GCSE level (essential) and has ideally achieved Level 7 in Maths and English
  • Previous experience in a marketing and communications / customer service role
  • Understanding of CIPD qualification structure
  • Strong ICT skills Proficient in the use of databases, platforms and tools not limited to Microsoft Office, Sway, Adobe, Canva, Excel, Powerpoint, Social Media platforms, Hootsuite, Hubspot
  • Experience delivering customer service ideally in an educational environment
  • An understanding of the UK education system (essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Possess a creative mindset paired with a profound passion for the world of marketing and communication
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey ideas with precision and flair
  • Embrace a fundamental understanding of digital marketing and the workings of various social media platforms
  • Showcase your robust organisational skills and knack for handling multiple tasks with ease
