Job Description

Administration Assistant
Location: Hazel Grove, Stockport
Salary: 22,000 - 27,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

The Role:

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is based at our Head Office in Hazel Grove, Stockport, and is pivotal in supporting our payroll and accounts team, along with general administrative duties across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing weekly contingent labour cycles, including data collation, payment processing, and handling worker queries.
Accurate processing and coding of timesheets on a central Excel-based system.
Ensuring correct payment rates for various roles and completing worker payment sheets.
Handling finance office calls, addressing timesheet and payment queries.
Monitoring and reporting on excessive working hours.
Administering and registering new workers with Umbrella companies.
Scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and undertaking general office duties.

Requirements

Candidate Profile:

Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll and office administration.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word.
Strong data entry, typing skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, growing team.
Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage large volumes of data and paperwork.

Objectives:

Ensure accurate and timely completion of the contingent labour cycle.
Provide high-level service and minimize queries through accurate initial payments.

Skills/Competencies:

Advanced Excel skills, including Vlookup and pivot tables.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Confidence in handling large data volumes.
