Job Description

Office Manager/Accounting Specialist

Reports to the CFO

Are you a detailoriented professional with a passion for numbers and a knack for organization Our client is a leading company in heavyduty equipment sales and replacement parts for large trucks Our client seeks an Office Manager/Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic team In this role you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while managing various financial tasks If you thrive in a fastpaced environment and have a strong background in accounting we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily office operations including maintaining office supplies coordinating schedules and handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Perform various accounting tasks such as processing invoices reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Interest payment posting for Floorplans
  • Accounts Receivable and collections for past due accounts
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to develop and implement efficient accounting processes and systems
  • Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Coordinate and communicate with external stakeholders such as vendors clients and auditors
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax filings
  • Handle general administrative tasks including answering phone calls responding to emails and organizing meetings

Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience in arelated field
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or Accounting Specialist
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
