Job Description
Are you a Structural Technician looking to join a multiawardwinning engineering practice
Do you have a minimum of years post graduate experience in structural engineering geotechnical engineering or civil engineering
Are you fluent in Revit AutoCAD D & D Modelling
If you are looking for a new role where you can use your technical expertise and initiative to make a difference then we have the perfect role for you
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to carry out the following
- Developing Engineers sketches and overmarks to full production drawings for structural works
- Be able to develop construction details and carry out design detailing of junctions
- Liaise with the Project Engineer on issues requiring clarification
- You will be working on a wide portfolio of projects across all sectors
- Be aware of civil design and have working knowledge
We are recruiting for a Structural Technician to join a highly successful engineering practice within the Central Belt of Scotland
The successful candidate will be able to lead a project or work as part of a team during a project whilst having the opportunity to work on a variety of projects from domestic builds to largescale commercial developments
You will be responsible for providing technical support to the project team and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest possible standards You will be expected to demonstrate initiative commercial awareness and problem solving skills always
Your ability to interpret and advise on technical matters will be essential in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the client s satisfaction

Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent
Minimum yr Post Grad Experience in similar environment
Sound working knowledge of the Residential Market
Proficient in AutoCAD & Revit
Degree in Civil Engineering Solid understanding and knowledge of Roads, Drainage & Earthworks Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to both take lead and support with various projects
