The company is a growing and dynamic company serving as the large prime on a very successful contract, and we are searching for a highly skilled System Engineer 2 (SE2) to be a part of our team. The ideal candidate must possess the following:

• Working knowledge of Digital Multiplexers, Analpcmog and Digital Signals, Voice/Vocoders, TDMs, Spread Spectrum, SONET/SDH/OTN, ETHERNET, PCM, VSAT, OSI Model and Computer to Computer (C2C) structure, protocols, and data such as MPLs, Pseudowire, TDMop, ATM, Frame Relay, Cisco, Nortel, X.25, PPP, IP, TCP, UDP, VOIP, VOFR and Fragmentation.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• 5 years of additional System Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity/completion of Advanced Communications Signals Analysis Course, Intermediate Communication Signals Analysis Course.
• Experience developing Junit tests to automate the regression testing.
• This position will require wireless experience and telephony engineering in addition to strong hands-on engineering skills.
• This position is a hands-on System Engineering position support a mission critical system. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of system support, including requirements management, data management and analysis, system testing, and support to users.
