RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for data integration/data transformation from multiple systems/warehouses to the centralized Oracle / AWS / Heroku Postgres database.
• Conduct development of new Postgres queries/functions/procedures in PL/pgSQL in order to expose data to Salesforce Cloud Platform (json input/output).
• Generation of periodic reports to show specific relations between data sets from multiple systems and provide key insights to business.
• Administration of Oracle, Postgres database, tuning and monitoring its performance will also be part of your common duties.
• Accountable for new data structures creation for current/new data sets coming to Centralized Postgres Database.

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST HAVE

• 3-4 years relevant experience
• Postgres - exceptional experience especially in optimization of complex queries or complex PL/pgSQL code, must have good hands-on SQL skills, knowledge about postgres DB tuning and Postgres DB performance optimization
• Experience in data integrations across multiple systems/platforms with usage of ETL/ELT tolls (like Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Xplenty/Integrate.IO, Talend, Pentaho, anything else) - important is to have at least one so it can easily adapt to other with help

NICE TO HAVE

• Good Knowledge of json (especially parsing json in SQL using functions like JSONB_OBJECT, jsonb_agg and others, experience in json data manipulation within database)
• Experience in working in SOA (Service oriented architecture) environment with lots of microservices (REST, SOAP request),
• Experience with Oracle (PL/SQL mainly) at mid/high level
• Bash scripting in UnixLinux
• Python knowledge

Positions is 100% remote with the option to work from Polish office if wishes. Candidate will need to be willing to work later to accommodate connections with colleagues based in the US time zone a few hours overlap required.
