JOB SUMMARY
As an Epic Implementation Third-Party Applications Project Manager with Ellit Groups, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of third-party applications and integrations within the Epic EHR environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, IT professionals, vendors, and Epic experts, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of third-party applications within the Epic ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Project Management:

    • Lead end-to-end project management for the implementation of third-party applications within the Epic environment.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing issues and risks in a timely manner.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
  2. Vendor Relationship Management:

    • Collaborate with third-party application vendors to understand system capabilities, requirements, and timelines.
    • Manage vendor contracts, negotiations, and performance to ensure adherence to project goals.
    • Facilitate communication between internal teams and vendors.
  3. Requirements Analysis:

    • Work closely with clinical and IT teams to gather and document requirements for third-party applications.
    • Ensure that requirements align with the organizations strategic goals and Epic integration standards.
  4. Epic Integration:

    • Coordinate the technical integration of third-party applications with the Epic EHR system.
    • Collaborate with Epic analysts and developers to ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability.
    • Perform testing and validation to ensure the integration meets quality standards.
  5. Change Management:

    • Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of third-party applications among end-users.
    • Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
  6. Quality Assurance:

    • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the functionality, security, and compliance of third-party applications.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on healthcare IT and Epic EHR implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Epic Systems and their integration capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Proven track record of successful project management in healthcare settings.
