Job Description
- Previous experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Head Chef specializing in Japanese cuisine in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in Japanese culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a creative approach to menu development and presentation.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers, and vendors.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a dynamic culinary environment.
- A culinary degree or relevant certification is required, along with additional training in Japanese cuisine.
