Job Description
- Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans to ensure the hotel’s sustainability ambition:
- Energy efficiency improvements, green energy sourcing
- Sustainable F&B (food waste management, food sourcing, food trends)
- Plastic pollution reduction
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Support to local communities & charities
- Biodiversity protection
- Coordinate all operational aspects to optimize sustainability performance: pollution control, waste management, energy consumption, water consumption.
- Train staff at all levels on environmental issues and good practices.
- Liaise for the hotel's sustainable development with relevant bodies such as local authorities, public bodies and NGOs.
- Report on environmental performance to internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies to meet regulations and secure sustainability certifications.
- Develop and implement environmental management systems to continuously improve the hotel’s impacts on the environment.
