Job Description
A database administrator is some one who manages and maintains a secure data in one or more data systems so that users can perform business related analyses, DBA are responsible for data storage, organization,display,utilization, and analysis from a teachnological standpoint. A DBA should be able to write and optimize SQL queries and scripts as well as use tools and utilities for database administration and development. A DBA should also be familiar with the operating system, network and hardware that support the database enviornment.
