Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 7 years of related professional experience
• Degree in technology related area preferred
• Certification in Data Management (CDMP) or Business Intelligence (CBIP)

Job Responsibilities:

• Elicit, understand, interpret and represent business requirements for data, information delivery and analytics, data integration, metadata, training, service levels, data quality, and performance
• Act as the conduit between the customer and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood
• Understand source systems and its data models
• Work with architects to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Validate that data integration, data movement, and warehouse meets requirements and service-level agreements
• Develop source to target mappings (STTM) for data lineage
• Analyze data to validate business domains and requirements
• Conduct data profiling and ensure data quality requirements are accurate and complete
• Act in an advisory capacity in data model reviews, architecture approach and solution design to ensure high quality deliverables
• Coordinate prototype reviews
• Execute and promote data management strategy
• Work with Quality Assurance teams in defining the QA strategy, test plans and use cases to validate data
• Communicate planned and unplanned activities to appropriate parties as needed

Technology/Application Requirements:

• 7+ years' experience working as a data analyst leveraging BI tools in a centralized data warehouse environment
• 5+ years hands-on experience working with SQL with an understanding of different data structures (flat files and RDMS)
• 3+ years' experience with data modeling concepts and techniques
• Proven experience on projects involving data integration, data warehousing, data cleansing and data conversion process and/or tools
• Experience working with Teradata Data Warehouse or other RDMS
• Strong agile experience
• Experience with self-service tools (Ex. Tableau, PowerBI)
• Experience with data governance a plus
• Experience with agile methodology a plus
• Understanding of vehicle supply chain environment is a plus
• Understanding of automotive industry is a plus
