Job Description
- Translate functional business requirements into a technical solution that conforms to internal design standards.
- Excellent understanding of LTM/GTM configuration (VIPs Persistence SNAT SSL custom health monitors etc.).
- Experience in writing and troubleshooting complex iRules.
- Intermediate knowledge of networking and systems administration; and the ability to troubleshoot problems.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting tools such as: tcpdump logs curl and Wireshark.
- Knowledge of http protocol versions headers methods and status codes.
- Availability during evenings and weekends for P1 issues and scheduled change controls.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of Network engineering experience.
- Bachelors degree or higher in an area of technology and/or F5 BigIP certification.
- Professional networking certifications such as CCNP are desirable.
- Experience in architecting implementing and supporting critical enterprise level LAN and WAN technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and change focus as needed.
- Ability to maintain precise documentation and network diagrams.
