Job Description

As a specialist in food packaging we manufacture and distribute packaging solutions for the agrifood and food services industries Our business involves taking responsibility for our practices and rethinking our materials

If you are enthusiastic about supporting the technical and technological development of a plant at a time when the Group is continuing to grow and expand internationally this is the job for you

Responsible for defining and applying sales policy he/she is in charge of budgets managing sales and achieving results and managing the organisation which will have to be rethought in markets undergoing change or development

Follow up customers in your area for food packaging canvass listen and promote new solutions

Main tasks

  • Implement the sales strategy (with the Global Sales Director) and implement it in a context of market transformation
  • Monitor your customer portfolio and contribute to its development
  • Draw up a schedule of visits and produce a summary report
  • Responding to customer invitations to tender and monitoring customer followup
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and liaise with specifiers and within the ecosystem
  • Manage relations with the companys strategic partners and/or key account customers structure key account policy
  • Responsible for the performance of the production department More specifically he/she is responsible for optimising ratios and costs (ensuring the turnover quota defined for your area)
  • Tracking orders
    • Studying sales statistics
    • Find out about unpaid bills and send out reminders
    • Compare actual sales with forecasts
    • Evaluating customer satisfaction
  • Keeping an eye on the future and the competition
  • Market research (identifying changing customer needs)
  • Provide customers with information about the companys products and services
  • Obtain information on the competition
  • Regularly report trends and developments to the Sales Director

Profile Required

With a higher education in sales you are known for being a handson person You will have some initial successful experience in sales ideally in the food or packaging sector

You are a good communicator and have real analytical skills and perseverance

Autonomous and rigorous you are also able to show initiative and make suggestions
English Dutch and ideally French are required

You will be sensitive to CSR issues
