Web Infrastructure Architect
Mission Context
The IT Application Production Support team provides infrastructure services to host and secure web applications. The team s responsibilities include technical architecture industrialization of web infrastructure and security production support and integration of web applications. The primary goal of this role is to help the Technical Design team create architectural designs for migrating to a new datacenter.
Job Description
As a Technical Infrastructure Architect you will work with the Technical Design squad to provide web hosting and web security expertise. You will guide projects in choosing the best architectural solutions to meet business needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating Detailed Technical Design (DTD) doents for new projects focusing on web infrastructure.
- Working with project architects infrastructure engineers and development teams to validate DTDs.
- isting team members in understanding architectural doents.
- Promoting structured approaches for project delivery and smaller requests.
- Contributing to defining and maintaining reference architectures.
- Offering technical expertise on endtoend solutions.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings or system decommissioning and proposing solutions.
Requirements
Education
- Master s degree or equivalent experience
Certifications
- No required certifications but TOGAF ITIL Agile certifications are a plus.
Languages
- English: Fluent
- French/Dutch: A plus
Work Requirements
- 50% onsite presence required 50% remote work.
Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Technical Ss
- Experience with infrastructure architecture in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of web application hosting (WebSphere Kubernetes IIS Tomcat etc.) and web security (F5 WAF API Gateway oAuth2 TLS etc.).
- Experience in cloud environments.
Business Ss
- Understanding of bankingrelated business processes.
- Familiarity with Agile odology.
Soft Ss
- Team player with strong communication and influencing abilities
- Selfstarter with a proactive attitude
- Good ytical ss and the ability to synthesize information
- Able to work independently and in a dynamic multicultural environment
- Flexible customeroriented and aware of risks
- Ability to work in fastpaced environments and manage demanding project schedules
- Strong interpersonal ss and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
