Job Description:
- 5 to 7 years experience as manufacturing engineer or industrial engineer
- 3i Amada and Striker software mandatory
- Assist in production line with daily files and continuous improvement
- Support in programming the laser, break presses, and punches using 3i Amada and Striker software
- Experience in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
- To develop and evaluate new processes and improve current process capability, efficiency, and overall productivity in all areas of manufacturing
- Develops innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturing production problems through identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes including conducting process analysis
- Refines and enhances processes by applying continuous improvement and key Lean manufacturing/production principles and techniques to areas of production.
- Experience with engineering change request, Manufacturing deviation creation and approvals
- Able to create manufacturing routing for existing and new manufacturing products.
- Designs and prepares concept drawings of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment.
- Work on facility drawing update existing layout or create new for equipment movement or new equipment
- Manages the overall implementations of capital equipment projects. Evaluates capital equipment investments and prepares cost justifications for divisional projects.
- Hands-on low-cost automation with pneumatic applications
- Design of tooling and fixtures for new products and processes and works with veriflo toolroom and tooling vendors to supply such designs.
- Identifies and implements solutions for issues relating to safety, quality, productivity, and cost reductions.
- Support Quality for CAR resolutions and customer returns
- Prepares documentation for new manufacturing processes and engineering procedures. Prepares reports summarizing analyzed process information and trends.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, assembly, and fabrication drawings
- Troubleshooting mind set - an ability to break down a system or process systematically and effectively into subparts to identify failures and troubleshoot to component level This job has no supervisory responsibility.
- Ability to interact with multi-functional department related to manufacturing engineering project execution.
