Job Description

Job Summary: Join our Randstad client in Washington, DC, as a Senior Program Manager overseeing the critical Unified Train Status and Communications initiative. This role is pivotal in coordinating and driving a multi-departmental effort, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in Agile/DevOps delivery, particularly within the NE corridor, is preferred. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead a transformative program aimed at enhancing train status and communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Oversight: Provide strategic direction and oversight for the Unified Train Status and Communications program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder requirements.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate effectively across multiple departments, fostering cohesive efforts and ensuring seamless communication and integration.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and guide project teams, overseeing their activities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful program execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to address them promptly and minimize impact on program goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with various stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and senior management, to maintain alignment and transparency regarding program progress and objectives.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently manage program resources, including budget, personnel, and technology, to optimize performance and achieve program milestones.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Generate comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation to convey program status, milestones, risks, and successes to relevant stakeholders and leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering an environment of innovation and evolution within the program and its associated processes.
