Job Description: Tell us about your department:
Our team is the Digital Communications Experience (DCXE) team. We are an Agile Scrum team focused on delivering custom Front-end experiences for ***'s Contact Center agents. We are currently developing new customer omnichannel experiences to provide ***'s customers with the means to get the help they want through the communication channel (voice, chat, sms, video, etc ) they prefer to use with us. We are creating these new Front-end experiences in a BBY custom Micro Frontend platform connected to the Twilio Contact Center as a Service platform. Our team works very collaboratively together often peer programming with each other to help the team succeed at maximizing the value we provide to our stakeholders.
Project Description:
Helping lead the team in our development of new customer omnichannel experiences for the BBY Contact Center's Digital Communication Platform.
Position Summary/Job Description:
Strong technical and interpersonal skills to lead and be accountable for business delivery requirements
Assist the Team Leader in providing day to day development leadership to the team.
o Help set overall design direction for how major features need to be delivered.
o Lead the overall delivery of code to meet proper security and code quality standards.
o Assist in strategically assigning work to help meet business timelines and provide opportunities to developers to strengthen their skills.
o Mentor developers in collaboration sessions during sprint delivery.
Lead team in sprint grooming sessions
Help in leading the continual improvement in team processes.
Be an individual contributor to team capacity/code development.
Skills Overview:
What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?
10+ years mid to Senior Front-end development experience (React, JS, CSS, HTML)
3 years development experience with Twilio
3 years designing new Front-end applications within a Micro Frontend platform
Ability to peer program with other team members
Strong Leadership skills within an Agile Scrum team
What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?
React Expert, Back-end experience, formal scrum training, adaptability to shifting priorities
