Job Description

This individual fills the role of surgical technologist II in the Operating Room. They understand and demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures. Assure all supplies and equipment are available for the procedure and in working condition. Confirm and/or assemble sterile instruments for use correctly. Anticipate the needs of the surgeon. They assist in keeping an accurate account of drugs, sharps, and instruments. They are responsible for maintaining and monitoring the sterile field.

2+ Years of Experience - Required

Two Supervisory Reference Forms - Required

BLS (AHA) & NBSTSA - Required

Please notate if your traveler has EPIC experience

PLEASE NOTE END OF DECEMBER START

Facility Specific Requirement: Cannot accept local candidates that live within 50 miles of the facility.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

BLS (AHA)
NBSTSA

Weekend Requirements : Every 4th weekend
On Call Requirements : Call will be 1 week night a week from 1700-0700 and then 1 weekend every 4 weeks.
