Planner

Job Responsibilities

100% on-site *local candidates*

Teams video and/or Face to face interviews onsite

Up to 5% domestic travel as needed

Duration:

1 year (if candidate shows potential and there is a full-time position that opens up, contractor may be asked to apply for consideration)

Plan and balance daily work for production lines

Backorder management from scheduling point through shipment

Backlog (BOV) reduction & prioritization based on customer needs.

Supply plan (shipment goal) attainment and planning M+12

Communication to operations and support functions of material, logistics, and capacity constraints

Lead continuous improvement initiatives of planning and execution flows

What qualifications?

Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or related field

2+ years of direct experience in purchasing, upstream planning and inventory management

Business understanding of supply chain, value streams, reporting and forecasts.

Strong leadership and change management skills

Strong influence and convincing skills

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite
