Job Description
As a growing fundraising company specializing in organizing community outreach events for our charity partners, we have earned a reputation for giving back to the community and supporting meaningful causes. Due to the immediate demand for our services, we are rapidly expanding in the area. We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic Entry Level Charity Event Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
The Entry Level Charity Event Manager will play a vital role in developing fundraising events and encouraging donor support through promotional activities. This person will contribute to expanding the reach of our charity partners throughout the local area, with a focus on increasing donations through effective community outreach.
- Aid in the daily planning and execution of fundraising activities.
- Collaborate with management to create new ways to boost our charity partners fundraising efforts through on-site events and promotions.
- Effectively communicate the core message of our charity partner to potential donors.
- Keep donor information records and examine the success of previous fundraising events.
Requirements
- Passion for community outreach and fundraising.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Prior experience in event planning or fundraising is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in philanthropy, community engagement, events, or promotions is required. Strong desire to collaborate with charitable organizations Volunteerism is a desire to give back to the community Capability to confidently and professionally talk in public and present our mission Demonstrate compelling communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
