Job Description

The Safety CAE Engineer creates full vehicle crash finite element models using ANSA and will perform analyzes using LS-DYNA software to assess vehicle crashworthiness based on regulatory and third party assessment criteria. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Analyzes results to develop design solutions to meet vehicle safety requirements and will communicate and present results to various engineering organizations.


Requirements:
Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program.
3years of Engineering experience.
3 years of experience of LS-DYNA and its application in vehicle safety.
2 years of experience with ANSA for crash model creation.
Knowledge of Hypergraph, Visual Viewer and Primer for crash data analysis.
Knowledge of vehicle structures, occupant protection and restraint systems.
Knowledge of FMVSS and third party requirements.
Preferred Requirements:
Familiar with vehicle crash and sled testing.
Familiarity with crash dummies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
