Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our booking team as an Entry Level Booking Agent. In this role, you will build lasting relationships with our clients by providing personalized service and excellent service.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to multi-task with attention to detail. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player who is passionate about providing outstanding service to our clients.



Requirements

Your responsibilities as a Booking Agent will include:

  • Responding quickly and professionally to client inquiries and requests

  • Presenting alternative travel packages and promotions to clients

  • Assisting clients in finding the best value for their travel needs

  • Researching and booking flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, activities, and other travel-related services

  • Inputting, organizing, and maintaining customer data, reservations, and other related information

  • Keeping up to date on industry trends and news

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Experience in the travel industry is desired but not required

  • A friendly, detail-oriented demeanor and ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • The ability to stay organized while dealing with multiple tasks

Key Responsibilities: Provide detailed information on available cruise packages, itineraries, costs and services Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner Research and investigate current cruise specials and promotions Research existing and new cruise options and provide recommendations to clients Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints and concerns Process and coordinate cruise reservations, payments, and cancellation. Coordinate with the cruise lines to ensure the necessary documentation is for travelers to board Effectively manage relationships with vendors, clients and team members Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven work experience in the customer service industry Excellent customer service skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
