Job Title: COMPOSITES Airframe Design Engineer

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76118 (On-Site Only. Not Hybrid, Not Remote)

Type: Full-Time

Visa Status: (USC) Only

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced COMPOSITES Airframe Design Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a COMPOSITES Airframe Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and development of aerospace components, with a specific focus on composite materials. Candidates with strong composite experience, aerospace knowledge, and previous experience with Bell/Textron products are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop aerospace components, emphasizing composite materials.
  • Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed design specifications and schematics for airframe components.
  • Conduct structural analysis and testing to ensure the integrity and performance of composite airframe structures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in composites and aerospace engineering.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for composite material selection, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure the successful production of composite components.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of airframe design processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong experience in designing and working with composite materials, with a focus on aerospace applications.
  • Previous experience with Bell/Textron products and systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in aerospace design software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities within a team-based environment.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality aerospace components.
  • Must have Green Card (GC) or U.S. Citizenship (USC) status.
