Formal Job description:
Design and implement information systems to support the enterprise infrastructure of an organization by ensuring that all systems are working at optimal levels and supporting development of new technologies and system requirements.
Vet emerging technologies and act as a subject matter expert to determine technology and infrastructure standards cross functionally
Define and document target architecture models, processes and policies related to core infrastructure
Anticipate growth and ensure scalability of the infrastructure to include servers, storage, network, and infrastructure applications
Lead architecture reviews and audits, including technical security, disaster recovery and business continuity programs
Serve as a subject matter expert for design of technical infrastructure to integrate solutions into existing technology standards
Lead coordination between IT, IS and business partners to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure business and technology systems
Provide limited technical infrastructure support, on-call support, and support for escalated support incidents as needed.
